Oversonic Robotics is seeking a Mid-Senior Computer Vision Software Engineer to join the Vision team. You will develop and integrate software that brings CV models into production across robotics platforms, both on edge devices and in the cloud, focusing on robust data pipelines and model deployment.

You will work with Python, GPU-accelerated tools, and modern ML pipelines, collaborating with AI, Software, and Hardware teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in a hybrid work setting in Italy.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience with computer vision, robotic perception, or 3D vision systems.
• Strong knowledge of Python OOP, including multithreading and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with streaming/protocols such as WebRTC and MQTT.
• Hands-on RGB-D pipelines, point cloud processing, and 3D libraries (PCL).
• Experience with deep learning models for object detection, segmentation, and pose estimation (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying AI models on GPUs/edge devices (ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, CUDA, NVIDIA Jetson).
• Model conversion, FP16/INT8 quantization, real-time inference optimization.
• Familiarity with Git collaborative workflows.

Mansioni

• Integrate computer vision models into production software applications.
• Develop services and pipelines for image acquisition, inference, and post-processing.
• Deploy AI applications on edge devices (NVIDIA Jetson) and cloud infra.
• Integrate with REST/gRPC APIs, messaging systems, and streaming protocols.
• Optimize application performance and manage AI model lifecycle (ONNX, TensorRT).
• Develop modular software in Python.
• Containerize applications with Docker and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI, Software, and Hardware teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
