Alpian Technologies is seeking a proactive QA Engineer to own end-to-end product quality across two engineering squads. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects and Engineers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle and shape our QA approach in a fintech, regulated environment.

You’ll design test strategies, execute exploratory and regression testing, manage UAT and API testing (REST/contract), and drive go/no-go decisions for releases.

Competenze

• 5+ years of QA experience in mobile and web, ideally in fintech or regulated environments.
• Strong experience defining QA strategies, processes and testing approaches.
• Hands-on API testing (REST and contract testing), manual testing, regression and exploratory testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Ability to assess risks and prioritise testing in a fast-paced setting.

Mansioni

• Own and evolve QA strategy across two product squads.
• Define test strategies for epics and user stories and identify risks early.
• Partner with Product Owners, Architects and Engineers to refine acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute exploratory, regression and manual testing for critical flows.
• Manage end-to-end testing phases (UAT, non-regression, test data, triage).
• Perform API testing including REST and contract testing.
• Identify quality gaps and emissions proactively, without waiting for tickets.
• Own and improve the regression test suite balancing coverage and maintenance.
• Provide visibility on defects, coverage and release readiness.
• Contribute to go/no-go decisions for production releases.
• Build deep product/domain knowledge and act as quality partner for teams.
