SAES Getters is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong track record in managing complex, high-criticality projects within high-tech manufacturing. You will lead project teams, coordinate with strategic clients, industrial partners and suppliers from bidding through final delivery.

The role emphasizes end-to-end project ownership, team development, and rigorous cost and risk management across international scopes. English fluency is required and travel may be international.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in complex manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical considered a plus).
• PM certifications (PMP®, PRINCE2®) are a major plus.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with consolidated experience in managing complex projects and resources within high-tech manufacturing environments. The candidate will be responsible for leading project teams and liaising with all internal and external stakeholders, including strategic clients, industrial partners, and suppliers—across the entire project lifecycle, from the bidding phase to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of complex, high-criticality projects, from the offering and planning phases to final commissioning.
• Management, coordination, and development of the team, defining workloads, planning effort, and guiding operational team members toward achieving project targets.
• Relationship management and interface with supply chain, procurement, strategic clients, industrial partners, and external suppliers.
• Planning and monitoring of project timelines, milestones, WBS, resource allocation, and project KPIs.
• Financial and economic control of the project: oversight of budget, costs, margins, and risk management.
• Proactive issue management, identifying timely corrective actions and reallocating resources to ensure project goals are met.
• Support for Offering and Sales activities, contributing to the execution strategy, estimating time/effort/resources, and benchmarking quotes based on operational field data.
• Regular status reporting on project progress to Executive Management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record in resource management and team coordination within complex manufacturing and industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (specialization in Mechanical Engineering is considered a plus).
• Preferred qualifications:
• Knowledge of the target market.
• Familiarity with products and technologies related to vacuum pumps or similar systems.
• Strong skills in Project & Program Management, Leadership, Resource Allocation, Contract Management, and Budget Control.
• Project Management certifications (PMP®, PRINCE2®, etc.) are considered a major plus.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Project Planning tools and ERP systems.
• Willingness to travel periodically both nationally and internationally based on project and client requirements.
