Sirio Solutions Engineering SpA (SSE SpA) seeks a Project Manager to lead defined projects from handover through execution, ensuring scope, schedule and budget alignment with company targets. You will coordinate cross-functional, multicultural teams and drive successful delivery.

The ideal candidate has engineering background, proven leadership, strong planning and communication skills, and readiness to travel occasionally within Italy and abroad.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Management, Electronic, Mechanical, Telecommunications or Automation)
• Previous experience in a Project Management role
• Experience in Oil & Gas and/or Power Generation is advantageous
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills
• Results-oriented with prioritization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus

• Ensure successful delivery of system supply projects and customized engineered solutions within scope, schedule, and budget.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Project Management team. The mission of the role is to successfully manage assigned projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from project handover through execution and final delivery, ensuring that scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives are achieved in line with Company targets.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams, fostering collaboration and driving projects to successful completion while embodying the Company's values.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the successful delivery of both system supply projects and customized engineered solutions, meeting contractual obligations, project scope, schedule and budget requirements.
• Participate in and support the final stages of the bidding process, ensuring an effective handover to the execution phase by clearly defining project scope, objectives and deliverables together with all relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with Engineering Managers to ensure the technical feasibility of projects and the timely availability and allocation of the required resources.
• Develop, independently or with the support of the Project Planner, detailed project execution plans, defining realistic schedules and milestones to be shared with customers and project team members.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project risk management plans, identifying mitigation actions and escalating critical issues to Management whenever necessary.
• Support the Procurement Department in the sourcing of key project materials, contributing to budget definition, contractual negotiations and supplier relationship management.
• Foster effective communication among project team members, customers and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain project dashboards using the Company's project management tools, monitoring project budgets, forecasts and profitability KPIs.
• Monitor and control project performance from both operational and financial perspectives, proposing corrective actions whenever required in collaboration with the relevant internal functions.
• Track project progress in terms of schedule, scope, quality and overall execution.
• Lead regular project review meetings to assess progress against the project plan and provide clear direction and feedback to the project team.
• Provide Management with regular updates on project performance, financial results and key risks.
• Manage project scope changes by assessing their impact on schedule, costs and profitability, coordinating any required revisions with Management.
• Prepare project close-out reports and Lessons Learned documentation to capture best practices and support continuous improvement across future projects.
• Ensure projects are executed in compliance with the Company's Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, with the support of the dedicated EHS function.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable Export Compliance regulations and internal Company procedures throughout project execution.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Management Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• Previous experience in a similar Project Management role is preferred.
• Professional experience within the Oil & Gas and/or Power Generation industries will be considered a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills.
• Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
• Availability for occasional business travel in Italy and abroad.
