Hitachi Energy Italy seeks a seasoned engineer to join the Grid & Power Quality Solutions team in Milan, contributing to grid connections and power quality projects across Europe. You will lead cross-discipline engineering tasks, coordinate installations, and support proposals and risk analysis.

The role requires 5–7 years in GIS/AIS and EPC power plants, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and fluency in English and Italian. Hybrid options and competitive benefits are provided.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Energy/Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in GIS (gas insulated switchgear) and/or AIS (air insulated switchgear) and/or EPC power plants.
• Ability to coordinate projects and people; strong communication and teamwork skills.

Mansioni

• Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques for conventional projects with few complex features.
• Acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline.
• Collaborating on project installation, commissioning and site activities and providing technical support.
• Assisting in creating proposals for projects through coordination of proposal documents and engineering estimates; performing risk analysis.
• Overseeing subcontract creation and managing subcontractors with supply chain coordination.
