Job summary
thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize chemical processes at customer sites in Italy and beyond. You will prepare basic engineering documents, assist in procurement, oversee commissioning, and support sales and project teams with technical input.
A 10+ year track record and English proficiency are essential. The role offers exposure to green hydrogen projects, international teams, and opportunities for growth, with travel outside
Qualifications
- University degree in Chemical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of process engineering experience in the chemical industry.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel outside Europe for meetings and commissioning/start-up.
- Team player with initiative and proactive attitude.
- Open to continuous improvement in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up technical procurement of process equipment and detail engineering from external suppliers.
- Commissioning and start-up at customer plant site.
- Support Sales on technical aspects of the offer.
- Support Project Manager during kick-off for technical aspects.
