Job summary

thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize industrial processes for green hydrogen and chlor-alkali production. The role focuses on basic engineering, procurement follow-up, and site commissioning at customer plants.

The ideal candidate holds a chemical engineering degree, has 10+ years in process engineering within the chemical sector, and is fluent in English. Travel outside Europe for technical meetings and commissioning may be required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience as Process Engineer in the chemical industry.
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English.
• Willingness to travel outside Europe for technical meetings and commissioning/start-up activities.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up of technical procurement of process equipment and the detail engineering prepared by external suppliers.
• Commissioning and start-up at customer's plant site.
• Support to the Sales department for discussion of technical aspects of the offer.
• Support to the Project Manager during kick-off meeting for technical aspects.
