Job summary

thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize chemical processes at customer sites in Italy and beyond. You will prepare basic engineering documents, assist in procurement, oversee commissioning, and support sales and project teams with technical input.

A 10+ year track record and English proficiency are essential. The role offers exposure to green hydrogen projects, international teams, and opportunities for growth, with travel outside

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of process engineering experience in the chemical industry.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel outside Europe for meetings and commissioning/start-up.
• Team player with initiative and proactive attitude.
• Open to continuous improvement in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up technical procurement of process equipment and detail engineering from external suppliers.
• Commissioning and start-up at customer plant site.
• Support Sales on technical aspects of the offer.
• Support Project Manager during kick-off for technical aspects.

Main Responsibilities And Contents

• Preparation of technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up of technical procurement of process equipment and the detail engineering prepared by external suppliers;
• Commissioning and start-up at customer's plant site;
• Support to the Sales department for discussion of technical aspects of the offer;
• Support to the Project Manager during kick-off meeting for technical aspects.

Your profile

Skills, Qualifications And Abilities

• University degree in Chemical Engineering;
• at least 10 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in engineering companies operating in the chemical industry;
• Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language;
• Availability to travel out of Europe for technical meetings and commissioning/start-up activities;
• Good will, proactivity, ability to both individual and teamwork;
• Open mind to continuous improvement and professional growth in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.

• Annual Gross Salary range 50k-55k euro (paid over 14 monthly installments)
