Job summary

thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize industrial processes for green hydrogen and chlor-alkali production. The role focuses on basic engineering, procurement follow-up, and site commissioning at customer plants.

The ideal candidate holds a chemical engineering degree, has 10+ years in process engineering within the chemical sector, and is fluent in English. Travel outside Europe for technical meetings and commissioning may be required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience as Process Engineer in the chemical industry.
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English.
• Willingness to travel outside Europe for technical meetings and commissioning/start-up activities.

Aim of the position

You will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.

Main responsibilities and Contents

• Preparation of technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up of technical procurement of process equipment and the detail engineering prepared by external suppliers;
• Commissioning and start-up at customer's plant site;
• Support to the Sales department for discussion of technical aspects of the offer;
• Support to the Project Manager during kick-off meeting for technical aspects.

Skills, qualifications and abilities

• University degree in Chemical Engineering;
• at least 10 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in engineering companies operating in the chemical industry;
• Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language;
• Availability to travel out of Europe for technical meetings and commissioning/start-up activities;
• Good will, proactivity, ability to both individual and teamwork;
• Open mind to continuous improvement and professional growth in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.

• Annual Gross Salary range 50k-55k euro (paid over 14 monthly installments)
