RINA is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for Genova/Rozzano/Milan to lead process engineering activities within the Plant Engineering division. The role focuses on design, optimization, and project execution across energy projects while ensuring safety and compliance.

This post targets candidates registered under Italian Law 68/99 and with strong leadership and technical expertise. You will coordinate process design efforts, review key deliverables, and guide teams through FEED, detailed

Competenze

Must be registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99.
8+ years of experience in process engineering in the energy sector.
Proven track record leading process design and optimization projects.
Strong expertise in process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS) and related tools.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English; good Italian communication skills.

Mansioni

Lead and oversee process engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility to commissioning.
Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and related documents.
Perform process simulations, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, and safety studies.
Ensure deliverables comply with codes, standards, procedures, and client specs.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
Support proposal preparation, scope definition, and technical bid evaluations.
