RINA is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for our Plant Engineering division with location options in Genoa, Rozzano or Milan. You will lead process engineering activities on energy projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and optimized designs across the project lifecycle.

The role requires a strong track record in process design, ability to mentor engineers, and fluency in English and Italian. The position offers a permanent contract and a competitive salary with a potential annual bonus.

Competenze

• Mandatory: Registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99 (collocamento mirata).
• +8 years of experience in process engineering within the energy industry.
• Proven track record of leading process design and optimization projects from conception to completion.
• Strong technical expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS) and engineering tools.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Good Italian communication skills and fluent in English languages

Mansioni

• Lead and oversee process engineering activities across the project lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, heat & material balances, datasheets, and operating philosophies.
• Perform process simulations, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, flare studies, and other analyses.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, procedures, and client specifications.
• Provide technical leadership within multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Support proposal preparation and technical bid evaluations.
