The role emphasizes leadership in project excellence within management consulting and sustainability, with a focus on risk management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Competenze

  • Master’s degree in engineering or management-related field.
  • Professional project management credentials (PMP / PRINCE2) preferred; Agile certs add value.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Technical Due Diligence & Finance Engineering Project Manager to join its office in Genoa within the Technical Assessment & Digital Solutions Program Management Division.

Mission

As a Technical Due Diligence & Finance Engineering Project Manager at RINA Consulting S.p.A., you will take a pivotal role in steering complex engineering projects from inception to completion. Your primary mission is to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with budgetary guidelines, all while fostering collaborative partnerships with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Your leadership will drive project excellence and contribute significantly to our commitment to quality and innovation in management consulting and sustainability.

Key Accountabilities
Project Management
  • - Design and implement detailed project plans that clearly define scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocations, with an emphasis on aligning deliverables to strategic business outcomes.
  • - Proactively monitor project progress and implement adaptive strategies to accommodate evolving client needs, schedules, and resource availability.
  • - Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to anticipate and address potential challenges and obstacles.
Client Interaction
  • - Serve as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining transparent and effective communication to provide timely project statuses and respond to enquiries.
  • - Lead client engagements through regular meetings, presentations, and workshops to ensure alignment and satisfaction with project deliverables.
  • - Utilize client feedback to refine project approaches and anticipate future requirements.
Team Coordination
  • - Collaborate closely with project engineers, discipline leaders, and cross-functional teams to assign tasks strategically, optimizing team performance and maintaining balanced workloads.
  • - Foster an inclusive and supportive team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional development.
Financial Stewardship
  • - Develop and manage detailed budgets, continuously tracking expenditure against financial forecasts to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • - Work alongside finance and procurement teams to manage contracts, vendor relationships, and procurement processes efficiently.
Quality and Compliance
  • - Ensure that all project activities adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
  • - Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery practices and client satisfaction.

This role requires a proactive and dynamic professional who excels in managing technical projects within the field of engineering and finance due diligence, capable of balancing complexity with clarity and operational excellence.

Education

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Management Engineering

Qualifications
  • - At least two years of professional experience in an engineering or technical project environment, demonstrating familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration and project lifecycle management.
  • - Recognised project management credentials such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or similar certifications are highly preferred; Agile certifications like Certified ScrumMaster add value.
  • - Proven expertise in multitasking, prioritising competing demands, and delivering results under pressure within tight deadlines.
  • - A strong foundation in engineering principles, complemented by knowledge of industry-specific safety and quality standards.
  • - Sound understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and client contract management.
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain productive client and team relationships.
  • - Advanced studies or coursework in project management methodologies, engineering processes, or related technical disciplines are advantageous.

Compensation Data

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria, and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €30.000 and €40.000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies, and overall alignment with the role.

In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.

The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
