Wood Group is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for its Milan region to lead design activities for power generation, utilities and offsites within complex chemical, petrochemical and energy projects. The role offers hybrid working with up to two days remote per week from Corsico (Milan).

You will contribute to process calculations, simulations and deliverables while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.

Competenze

• MSc degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Proven strong experience (5-10 yrs) in design of power generation, utilities and offsites.
• Knowledge of process simulators.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Availability to accept responsibilities.
• Flexibility to cope with project and Company needs.
• Client focus and attitude to teamwork.

Mansioni

• Carry out process calculations, simulations, heat and material balances, PFDs and data sheets in line with project standards.
• Check and comment deliverables prepared by Process Engineers and respond to vendor/licensor documents.
• Interact with other engineering disciplines to finalize process deliverables and ensure follow-up.
• Attend project reviews (PID, Hazid, Hazop) and participate in development of standardized tools and procedures.
• Coordinate the process team resources and communicate with the Client as required.

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer with expertise of power generation, utilities and offsites, to join its Projects business line focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries.

The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

Compensation & Compliance

• Contract Classification
• Contract type: Permanent
• Collective Agreement (CCNL): Industria Metalmeccanica (CNEL C011)
• Job Classification level: Impiegato, consistent with role requirements and applicable CCNL
• Gross Annual Salary: the initial gross annual salary will be 47,500.00, paid in 14 instalments
• The compensation package will include applicable CCNL elements and company benefits
• Variable pay and additional benefits will be detailed during the selection process

The key objectives for this role are

• Focusing on the Power generation, Utilities and Offsite systems, your work will mainly be the following:carry out Process calculations, simulations, heat material balances, Process flow diagrams, data sheets and other Process deliverables, in agreement with the Process Standards and the applicable project norms
• check and comment the deliverables prepared by the Process Engineers assigned on the project review and comment documents from Licensors and Vendors
• interact with the other Engineering Disciplines as necessary to prepare the Process deliverables and ensure their follow-up
• attend project reviews like PID review, Hazid, Hazop, etc
• contribute as requested to the development of standardized tools and procedures
• coordinate the process team resources assigned on the project
