Wood is seeking an Underground Designer in the Milano Corsico area to support underground and area finishing design for complex plants in chemical, petrochemical, and energy sectors. The role combines 3D modelling and 2D drafting with client interaction and site visits.
The position offers hybrid work, with up to two days remote per week, and a competitive package aligned with CCNL in Italy.
Wood is recruiting for an Underground Designer to join its Projects business line focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

You will support the design and development of underground and area finishing documents under the guidance of senior engineers and designers. The role involves the preparation of drainage system calculations, technical drawings for underground services, overall scope layout, installation drawings, area finishings, 3D models and related quantities interacting with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality technical solutions. During projects development, you’ll attend 3D model review and will implement any Client’s comments in the design. During construction you’ll be involved to prepare updated or new documents and for site visits.
