thyssenkrupp nucera Italy, based in Milano, is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to design, optimize and supervise industrial processes for electrochemical plants. You will ensure efficiency, quality and safety across projects and support sales and project teams.

The role requires a chemical engineering degree, 10+ years of experience in chemical process engineering, fluent English, and willingness to travel outside Europe for meetings and commissioning activities.

Competenze

• Experience of at least 10 years as a Process Engineer in chemical industry.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills applicable to process design.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel outside Europe for technical meetings and commissioning.

Mansioni

• Prepare basic engineering documentation and support procurement of process equipment.
• Coordinate commissioning and start-up at client site.
• Assist Sales in discussing technical aspects of offers.
• Support Project Manager during kick-off for technical matters.

Your responsibilities

Aim of the position

You will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.

Main responsibilities and Contents

• Preparation of technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up of technical procurement of process equipment and the detail engineering prepared by external suppliers;
• Commissioning and start-up at customer's plant site;
• Support to the Sales department for discussion of technical aspects of the offer;
• Support to the Project Manager during kick-off meeting for technical aspects.

Your profile

Skills, qualifications and abilities

• University degree in Chemical Engineering;
• at least 10 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in engineering companies operating in the chemical industry;
• Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language;
• Availability to travel out of Europe for technical meetings and commissioning/start-up activities;
• Good will, proactivity, ability to both individual and teamwork;
• Open mind to continuous improvement and professional growth in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.

Economics

• Annual Gross Salary range 50k euro (paid over 14 monthly installments)
