Job summary

thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize industrial processes at our Milan site. You will prepare technical documentation, coordinate procurement, and support commissioning and start-up activities at customer plants.

The role requires a chemical engineering degree, 10+ years of process engineering experience in the chemical sector, and fluent English. Travel outside Europe for technical meetings and commissioning is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of Process Engineer experience in chemical engineering environments.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel outside Europe for meetings and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documentation (basic engineering) and monitor procurement of process equipment; follow-up engineering by external suppliers.
• Commissioning and start-up at customer plants.
• Support Sales on technical aspects of offers.
• Assist Project Manager during kick-off with technical matters.

Your responsibilities

You will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.

Main Responsibilities And Contents

• Preparation of technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up of technical procurement of process equipment and the detail engineering prepared by external suppliers;
• Commissioning and start-up at customer's plant site;
• Support to the Sales department for discussion of technical aspects of the offer;
• Support to the Project Manager during kick-off meeting for technical aspects.

Skills, Qualifications And Abilities

• University degree in Chemical Engineering;
• at least 10 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in engineering companies operating in the chemical industry;
• Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language;
• Availability to travel out of Europe for technical meetings and commissioning/start-up activities;
• Good will, proactivity, ability to both individual and teamwork;
• Open mind to continuous improvement and professional growth in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.
