ams OSRAM is seeking a senior analog IC design expert to lead the development of broadband optical communication ICs. You will define methodologies, drive high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits, and mentor engineers across teams.

This role requires 15+ years of analog IC design experience, MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, and hands-on knowledge of HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers, PLLs/CDRs/ADCs/DACs. FinFET/FD-SOI CMOS is essential.

Your tasks

• Company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs, responsible for defining methodologies and leading critical analog developments
• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits
• Drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures
• Establish analog design methodologies
• Lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
