ams Italy S.r.l. seeks a senior expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs. You will define methodologies, lead critical analog developments, and drive innovation in transmitter/receiver architectures within a global team.

The role requires 15+ years of analog IC design experience, with knowledge of broadband optical front-end requirements and advanced CMOS processes. Mentorship of engineers and technical leadership are key expectations.

Competenze

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years analog IC design experience.
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and front-end requirements.
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs.
• Advanced CMOS node experience including FinFET and/or FD-SOI.

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
