ams OSRAM is seeking a senior analog IC design leader in Italy to drive broadband optical communication IC developments, defining methodologies and leading critical analog front-end projects.

The role focuses on high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits, transmitter/receiver architectures, and mentoring a team of engineers while signing off on technical reviews. Collaboration across functions and decisions on process technology choices are expected.

Competenze

• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver front-end requirements
• Advanced CMOS node experience (FinFET/FD-SOI) required

Mansioni

• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits.
• Define analog design methodologies and lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions.

Your tasks

• Company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs, responsible for defining methodologies and leading critical analog developments
• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits
• Drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures
• Establish analog design methodologies
• Lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
