Akamai is seeking a Senior Enterprise Security Architect in Parma, Italy. You will drive adoption of the Enterprise Security portfolio, lead PoCs, beta programs, and pre-sales, translating security capabilities into measurable value for large, complex customers.

You will guide customers toward identity-centric, zero-trust architectures, collaborate with partners and product teams, and shape roadmaps while enabling secure, agile deployments across enterprise environments.

As a Senior Enterprise Security Architect at Akamai, you’ll drive adoption of our Enterprise Security portfolio (Akamai Workforce Protector, LayerX) in large, complex customers. You will lead PoCs, beta programs, and pre-sales, translating security capabilities into measurable value. You’ll guide customers toward identity-centric, zero-trust architectures while aligning with partner teams and product roadmaps. This role blends hands-on configuration, architecture discovery, and cross-functional evangelism to enable secure, agile deployments.

• Perform enterprise architecture discovery and hands-on software configuration
• Guide customers toward agile, secure, identity-centric security models
• Take a consultative approach to solve security transformation challenges
• Educate and enable internal teams and partners on Enterprise solution portfolios to support sales
• Influence product roadmaps to reflect customer business priorities and requirements
• Experience in large, complex, customer-facing environments with responsibility for the technical sales cycle
• Ability to present complex technical material to diverse audiences, both virtually and in-person
• Knowledge of network security, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, endpoint protection, firewalls, and related cybersecurity concepts
• Expertise with Zero Trust concepts and technologies (Network Security, SASE/SSE, ZTNA, Microsegmentation)
• Understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and cloud-native technologies (Microservices, Kubernetes)
• Fluency in Italian and English
