Akamai Technologies is seeking a Senior Enterprise Security Architect/Senior ESA to act as a technical evangelist, guiding customers through adoption of Akamai’s Enterprise Access, Microsegmentation and Interaction Security offerings. You will own PoCs, beta programs, and pre-sales activities with customers and partners.

Competenze

• Experience in large, complex customer-facing environments with technical sales cycles.
• Ability to present complex material virtually and in-person to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of network security, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, endpoint protection and firewalls.
• Expertise with Zero Trust concepts including network security, SASE/SSE, ZTNA and Microsegmentation.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and cloud-native tech (Microservices, Kubernetes).
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Partner with the best

As a Senior ESA, you'll be the technical evangelist supporting customers with the adoption of our products and services. You'll play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of our solutions, helping to close the sale. Our goal is to navigate an evolution within customers to a more secure, dynamic and agile infrastructure.

As a Senior Enterprise Security Architect , you will be responsible for:

• Owning, shaping, and running proof-of-concepts, beta programs, and pre-sales activities with customers and partner teams
• Diving into enterprise architecture discovery and hands‑on software configuration
• Strategizing with and assisting customers as they move to more agile, secure, identity centric security models
• Taking a consultative approach to solutions and solving challenges around next generation security transformation
• Educating and enabling internal teams and partners regarding our Enterprise solution portfolios to motivate effective sales strategies
• Influencing product roadmaps and ensuring the inclusion of business priorities and requirements of customers

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience working in large, complex customer facing environments with responsibility for the technical sales cycle
• Be able to effectively present complex and technical material to varying audiences virtually and in-person
• Have knowledge of network security, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, endpoint protection, firewalls, and other cybersecurity concepts
• Have expertise with Zero Trust security concepts and technologies such as Network Security, SASE/SSE, ZTNA and Microsegmentation
• Display good understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and cloud native technologies (Microservices, Kubernetes)
• Be fluent in Italian and English
