Job summary

Baker Hughes in Italy seeks a Senior Project Manager for Power Systems / Industrial Power Generation. You will lead large, strategic projects from award through commissioning and acceptance, guiding multifunctional teams and managing executive customer relationships to ensure safe, on-time, profitable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; MBA is a plus.
• Significant experience managing complex industrial, infrastructure, energy, or power projects (min 5 years).
• Proven track record delivering large capital projects within scope, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Strong expertise in commercial management, contract administration, claims and change orders.
• Experience managing executive-level customer relationships and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience leading multifunctional and geographically dispersed teams in a global project environment.
• Understanding of PM methodologies and governance; PMP/ PMI certification desirable.
• Knowledge of gas turbine technology, power generation systems and EPC projects preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, strategic power generation projects from award to acceptance.
• Manage multifunctional teams and executive relationships; drive customer satisfaction.
• Own overall project financial performance: revenue, margin, cash, forecasting.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices across the project portfolio.
• Establish risk management strategies and capitalize on opportunities.
• Mentor project managers and guide teams across functions.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, site services, commissioning and finance.
• Oversee site execution, commissioning leadership and customer acceptance activities.
