Vertiv Holdings in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy, seeks a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join the team responsible for assessing new converter architectures and components. You will help develop power products that meet company goals and customer needs while collaborating with service, manufacturing, and procurement.

You will analyze conversion topologies, perform lab tests to verify performance, and prepare detailed technical documents. Travel up to 10% and English communication are required.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in UPS or power conversion platforms (AC/DC, DC/DC).
• Strong knowledge of IGBT, MOSFET, SiC power switches and magnetic components basics.

Mansioni

• Analyze and test future conversion topologies and components.
• Perform lab tests to increase technology readiness and verify performance.
• Coordinate with engineering divisions to define product specs.
• Prepare technical documents including drawings and component specs.
• Report progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders and management.
