Vertiv is seeking a Product Engineer – Energy Storage in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy. You will own the design of large battery backup systems, collaborating with R&D, field service, technical writing, sales and manufacturing to optimize performance and cost.

Occasional travel to customer sites is expected. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 2+ years in engineering, strong planning and communication skills, and good English.

Competenze

• University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineer role.
• Customer oriented and available to travel.
• Good English language knowledge.
• Strong planning, organizing, documentation and communication skills.
• Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lead and coordinate tasks with global engineering teams.

Mansioni

• Design owner for large battery backup systems using lithium-ion or other chemistry.
• Prototype, test and implement design changes to reduce costs or add value.
• Create or revise technical documentation for products.
• Assist with troubleshooting and travel to customer sites as needed.
