Mercury is seeking a Senior Planner to lead scheduling on complex construction projects in Milan. You will develop and maintain pre-construction through commissioning schedules, manage progress databases, and provide reports to stakeholders using Primavera P6. 3–5 years of planning experience and strong EVM knowledge are required.

You will travel to sites as needed and collaborate with client teams and subcontractors, ensuring schedule quality and timely delivery across regional projects.

• Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral).
• Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning Guidelines.
• Reporting to Planning Department.
• Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.
• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining progress databases.
• Progress reporting.
• Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
• Earned Value Management systems.
• Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
• Auditing progress on site.
• Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
• Preparation of tender schedules.
• Preparation of histograms.
• Leading planning meetings.
• Supporting weekly work-face planning systems.
• Resource / cash loading of schedules.
• Providing data for payment applications.
• Completing contract review reports.
• Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
• Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
• Recording delay and disruption.
• Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
• Travelling to projects in order to carry out the above, if required.
• Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required
• Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required
• Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required
