Optimus Search in Milan seeks a Senior Planner for a major pharmaceutical construction project. You will own the integrated programme from construction through commissioning and handover.

The role requires advanced Primavera P6 experience, proven EPC/EPCM know-how, and the ability to manage complex, multi‑discipline schedules on high-value projects. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams, preparing look‑ahead schedules and progress reports for stakeholders.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner on large-scale pharmaceutical or life sciences projects.
• At least one completed pharmaceutical construction project.
• Advanced Primavera P6 experience.
• Strong understanding of EPC/EPCM project environments.

• Monitor project progress and provide accurate programme updates

Overview

We are working with a leading engineering contractor delivering a major pharmaceutical construction project in Milan.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join the project team and take ownership of the integrated programme across a complex, fast-paced capital project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-value pharmaceutical facility from construction through to commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update integrated Primavera P6 schedules
• Build and maintain the project baseline programme
• Monitor project progress and provide accurate programme updates
• Coordinate planning activities across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams
