Cap Ingelec, based in Milan, seeks a Planning Engineer to optimize project timelines on major industrial building projects as a General Contractor. The role is predominantly on site with frequent travel across Italy.

You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and collaborate with Design and Construction teams to improve delivery schedules and cost efficiency. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Fluency in Italian and English required.
• Willingness to travel across Italy and work mainly on site.

As part of our growth and organizational development aroundmajor industrial building projectsas aGeneral Contractor, we are seeking a Planning Engineer in Milan.

You will be responsible for optimizing project timelines at every stage, coordinating subcontractors on site, and proactively identifying risks and opportunities related to project scheduling.

More specifically, your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop detailed project execution plans and schedules;
• Manage the planning of complex, interconnected projects, including resource allocation and cost optimization;
• Monitor project progress and implement schedule adjustments to ensure delivery on time and within budget;
• Challenge construction methodologies and technical solutions to improve overall project performance;
• Work closely with the Design and Construction teams to optimize project delivery schedules and cost efficiency;
• Anticipate potential issues and adjust schedules to ensure the initial project timeline is maintained;
• Prepare schedule reports and monitor project progress for the client, internal stakeholders, and project partners.

With an engineering background in the construction industry, you have proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.

Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6, you possess a strong technical mindset and thrive in multicultural environments. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Mainly based on site, close to the construction activities, you areopen to frequent travel across Italy.
