EPM Scientific is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer for a major pharmaceutical project in Lombardy, Italy. The role involves leading process engineering and design activities, ensuring GMP compliance, and coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The position is initially a 9‑month contract with potential for extension or permanent conversion. The successful candidate will bring 8+ years of pharma process engineering experience, strong knowledge of

Competenze

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years’ process engineering experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong design engineering background with proven project delivery.
• Experience in GMP environments.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and facilities.

Mansioni

• Lead process engineering and design activities across project phases.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and technical specifications.
• Support conceptual, basic, and detailed design activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with GMP and pharmaceutical industry standards.
• Conduct process evaluations, risk assessments, and engineering reviews.
• Support equipment selection, sizing, and process optimisation.
• Provide input during design reviews and project meetings.
• Assist with commissioning, qualification, and start-up activities where required.
