Exyte in Milan seeks an experienced Design Manager for our Pharmaceutical Facilities project. You will coordinate disciplines, manage documents and ensure timely execution in a GMP-regulated environment.

The role requires 10+ years in pharma or life sciences, a mechanical/chemical engineering background, fluency in Italian and English, and willingness to travel as part of an international team. Salary €54,500–€61,500 gross annually.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Energy Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as Project Engineer, Lead Engineer or Design Manager in pharma/biotech/life sciences
• Fluent Italian and English
• Willingness to travel and work in international teams

Mansioni

• Coordinate disciplines and forecast engineering deliverables against schedule and project milestones
• Work with procurement, subcontracting, construction and project controls teams
• Prepare and review material and construction requisitions for mechanical, piping and utilities
• Manage the preparation of key multidisciplinary project documents (P&IDs, equipment lists, line lists, utility data, design specs)
• Organize and document multidisciplinary coordination meetings to ensure timely project execution
• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and pharmaceutical industry regulations
• Support design reviews, risk assessments and technical evaluations
• Report directly to the Project Manager
