Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Permitting Specialist in Milan to support the Environmental and Permit Manager across multiple projects. You will harmonize procedures, maintain registers and liaise with internal teams and external consultants to streamline permitting across the company.

The role requires a strong background in environmental permitting, excellent English, and the ability to travel up to 20% of time. This position is based at Milan HQ and offers a permanent full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of permitting management experience, preferably in EPC projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–20% of working time.

Responsibilities

• Support collection, consolidation and analysis of permitting requirements across projects, tenders, sites and vessels.
• Develop, update and harmonize permitting procedures, tools, trackers, templates and reporting systems.
• Monitor permitting status across multiple projects and identify issues, trends and areas for improvement.
• Maintain centralized permitting registers and ensure traceability of information and obligations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to promote common permitting practices.
• Disseminate permitting requirements and lessons learned to improve coordination across projects.
