Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Permitting Specialist to join our Milan HQ. The role supports the Environmental and Permit Manager and collaborates with project teams and functions to harmonize permitting activities across projects, tenders, sites and vessels.

You will contribute to a structured, consistent permitting approach, promote best practices, and help improve company processes while traveling up to 10–20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in permitting management or related roles, preferably in EPC/offshore/onshore projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with ability to work across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support collection, consolidation and analysis of permitting requirements across projects, tenders, sites and vessels.
• Contribute to development, update and harmonization of permitting procedures, tools and reporting systems.
• Monitor permitting status across multiple projects and identify issues, trends, and areas for process improvement.
• Maintain centralized permitting registers and ensure traceability of information and obligations.
• Liaise with project teams, internal functions and external consultants to promote common permitting practices.
