Nokia is seeking a Senior Optical Transceiver Engineer in Trieste, Italy, to drive evaluation, validation, and introduction of advanced pluggable transceivers (100G to 1.6T) into the product portfolio. You will lead test strategy, remote validation, and hands-on lab work within a global optics team.

You will collaborate across PLM and suppliers, manage projects, and engage in international validation efforts, including travel. Fluent English and Italian nationality are preferred for this role.

Competenze

• Experience evaluating and validating pluggable optical transceivers (100G–1.6T).
• Solid experience with lab testing and test automation.
• Strong project and program management skills.
• Good communication in English; Italian nationality.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Mansioni

• Define requirements and procurement specs with PLM and suppliers.
• Develop test strategies and coordinate remote validation.
• Lead lab validation in automated environments.
• Manage projects and stakeholder communications.
