Nokia in Genova, Liguria, Italy seeks a Senior Optical Transceiver Engineer to drive evaluation, validation, and introduction of pluggable transceivers for Datacom and Telecom (100G–1.6T). You will define requirements, lead lab validation, and coordinate cross‑functional activities with global teams and suppliers.

The role requires deep technical expertise in optical transceivers, strong project management, and excellent communication in English. Travel internationally is expected as needed.

Competenze

• Senior engineer with proven optical transceiver validation experience.
• Experience with pluggable transceivers for Datacom/ Telecom (100G-1.6T).
• Strong collaboration across global teams and suppliers.
• Fluent in English; Italian nationality.
