Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA is seeking a Sr. Manager of Operations in Monfalcone to oversee safety, quality, and performance of manufacturing operations.

You will report to the Operations Director and lead the Operations Leadership Team, ensuring compliance with nuclear requirements and continuous improvement across fabrication, capacity, and staffing. Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or operations, including minimum 5 years leading managers or multi-level operational organizations in a regulated industrial environment.
• Experience in nuclear, power generation, aerospace, oil and gas, or other high integrity manufacturing sectors is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Nuclear safety and quality; Manufacturing operations management; Capacity and workforce planning; Welding, machining, NDE, and special processes; Operational risk and recovery management; Flow-Tasking-Method governance; Stakeholder management; Budget and Capitol prioritization
• Data-driven performance; Continuous improvement attitude; Executive communication; Conflict resolution and decision-making under pressure
• English: professional working proficiency, Italian: fluent or professional working proficiency where required.

Mansioni

• Oversee safety, quality, reliability, and performance of manufacturing operations.
• Report to the Operations Director and manage Monfalcone site operations.
• Govern fabrication and production ensuring proper staffing, qualification, and equipment.
• Translate project demand into workforce, qualification, equipment, shop-space, and shifts.
• Lead and develop the Operations Leadership Team with a focus on nuclear safety and accountability.
• Govern special processes (welding, NDE, RT) with appropriate oversight.
• Sponsor structured improvement programs to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Interface with executives, customers, and regulators as primary operations contact.
• Identify and manage operational risk, ensuring resilience and effective incident response.
