Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, Italy, is seeking a Welding Supervisor to support welding operations, oversee equipment and personnel, and ensure welded products meet quality standards while adhering to production schedules. The role is full-time and onsite, reporting to the Technical Services Manager.

Competenze

• 3 to 5 years of experience in manual welding within regulated manufacturing environments.
• Solid knowledge of welding processes and welder qualifications.
• Willingness to work on a three-shift schedule.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.

Mansioni

• Assess welder performance and recommend training or qualification programs.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and welding procedures; verify equipment condition.
• Critically evaluate welding materials and processes; give feedback to internal functions when needed.
• Contribute to defining and optimizing Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) balancing safety, quality, and cost.
• Identify and correct poor fit-ups, over-welding, and wasteful practices causing delays or scrap.
• Manage welding qualification documentation and welding monitoring records.
• Perform spot checks and inspections at welding workstations to verify compliance.
