Job summary

RINA is seeking a Senior Marine Software Technical Consultant in Genoa to lead requirements collection, analysis, and documentation for new software development, with a focus on delivering value on-site. The role demands leadership, strong knowledge of software development processes, and the ability to manage tests, implementation, and stakeholder communications at customer premises.

Fluency in English and Italian is required.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99.
• Excellent spoken and written English/Italian skills.
• At least 5 years’ related work experience.
• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience in business analysis activities within project teams.
• Substantial experience as a business analyst in progressive roles.
• Proven success in leading and managing complex projects.
• Advanced proficiency in business analysis techniques and documentation.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and systems.
• In-depth understanding of software development processes and technologies.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions with development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and document customer requirements for software development projects.
• Plan, execute and deliver software projects on time and within budget.
• Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams.
• Develop and manage project budgets and dependencies.
• Contribute to strategic planning and align tech solutions with goals.
• Liaise between customers, stakeholders and development teams.
• Lead testing and implementation at customer sites.
• Support Business Development in selling the software solution.
