Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician in Bologna to lead a maintenance team and ensure high equipment availability for operations. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance on MHE equipment, use CMMS for planning, and ensure health and safety standards are applied while providing engineering expertise for facility and sort-system equipment maintenance.

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you provide engineering Expertise for Multi-Functional Facility & Sort Systems Related Equipment Maintenance; you will coordinate team activities during the shift, guide Technicians, guarantee high level of equipment availability and ensure health and safety standards regulations are applied.

What you will be doing:

Lead the team, develop technicians within the team.

Guarantee high equipment availability for Operations (internal customer).

Coordinate planned preventive/corrective maintenance on MHE Equipment.

CMMS to plan/execute Preventive and Corrective maintenance and also to manage inventory of spare parts.

Ensure health and safety standards regulations are applied.

Provide Engineering Expertise for Multi-Functional Facility & Sort Systems Related Equipment Maintenance; Provides Technical Support for Automated Sort System; Develop Improvements & Enhancements to Existing Equipment), Resolving System Problems & Troubleshooting.

What do you bring with you:

Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex.

Solid foundational knowledge of PLC based controls systems.

Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance.

Proven ability to supervise and influence others on the team.

Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload.
