Job summary

ITA FedEx Express Italy s.r.l. is seeking a Manager Area Facilities Management & Material Handling Maintenance to lead maintenance teams and coordinate with vendors. You will oversee safety, compliance and reliability of facilities and material handling equipment, and manage CMMS for PM/CM/EM activities.

The role requires strong leadership, proactive communication, and experience in maintenance and budget management. English fluency is essential; Italian language skills are preferred.

• Proven people management abilities and team leadership.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal maintenance team and external vendors to ensure safety, compliance and reliability of buildings and systems.
• Oversee CMMS usage for PM/CM/EM activities.
• Conduct regular audits with authorities, team and vendors to verify status of building and systems.
• Define and manage full OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.

What you will be doing:

• Within your remit: manage maintenance internal team, external vendors, contracts to secure safety, compliance and reliability of building and systems that belong to your portfolio
• Manage CMMS ensuring full usage related to PM / CM / EM
• Perform regular audit together with authorities, team and vendors to monitor properly the status of building and systems
• Define and manage full OPEX and CAPEX budget
• Cooperate with other functions in cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Implement processes and procedures in line with corporate standards
