Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a Senior OTS Trainer (Operator Training Simulator) for Milan, Italy, with travel to Mozambique. The role focuses on developing, managing, and delivering the Panel Operator training program and maintaining the OTS to qualify operators ahead of first gas.

You will lead competency assessments, coordinate vendor support, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements while driving national trainee development and hands-on OTS operations.

Competenze

• 15+ years production experience (oil, gas, petrochemical).
• 5+ years as Panel Operator in LNG liquefaction plant.
• Hands-on experience using an Operator Training Simulator.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement the Panel Operator training programme, including OTS exercises for start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting, and emergencies across all plant units.
• Support Panel Operator and Field Operator Competency and Qualification programmes; lead competency and panel operator qualification assessments.
• Ensure experienced Panel Operators are qualified and drive national trainees to full qualification.
• Define training methods, standards, and objectives; prepare and disseminate training materials; maintain training records and reports.
• Contribute to Operations training policies and toolbox talks; deliver topic training sessions.
• Act as custodian of the OTS: ensure it is maintained and aligned with ICSS configuration.
• Witness OTS acceptance tests and attend vendor training sessions.
• Keep the Operator Training Manual up to date and coordinate vendor support.
• Ensure routine OTS system maintenance and updates.
• Interface with Engineering and ICSS to develop process and control opportunities on the simulator.
• Stay current with training best practices and propose programme improvements.
