Airswift seeks a Senior OTS Trainer in Milan to lead operator training for LNG facilities. You will deliver simulator-based training, develop programs, and align procedures with process engineering and control interfaces. Strong English communication and leadership are essential.
Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in a relevant field, 10+ years in oil/gas/petrochem, and 5+ years in LNG panel operations, with experience using an Operator Training Simulator.

Bachelor's degree in Applied Science or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent recognised qualification supported by strong relevant experience.
Minimum 10 years of production experience within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry. Minimum 5 years of panel operator experience in an LNG liquefaction plant environment. Hands-on experience using an Operator Training Simulator, including delivery of training exercises and simulator-based operational support. Experience supporting operator competency and qualification programmes, including assessment of panel operators and development of trainees to full qualification. Experience reviewing, writing, or validating operating procedures covering start-up, shutdown, cooldown, troubleshooting, and emergency shutdown activities. Experience working with cross-functional technical teams, including process engineering and DCS or ICSS engineering interfaces.
Excellent knowledge of DCS panel operations and integrated control and safety systems, including safety shutdown systems. Strong technical understanding of natural gas treatment, LNG liquefaction, storage and loading, utilities, inlet facilities, and MEG systems. Ability to troubleshoot process upsets and support plant emergency response from a control room operations perspective. Capability to develop and implement structured training programmes, training materials, records, and assessment standards. Ability to maintain simulator alignment with plant configuration and support routine system maintenance activities including updates, patches, health checks, and licence management. Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to deadlines. Effective communication skills with fluent written and spoken English. Good knowledge of HSE and environmental management systems. Proficiency with Windows office applications.
Portuguese language capability. Experience with Schneider Electric platforms, including Foxboro or EcoStruxure. Experience following a facility from commissioning through to steady-state operations.
