Job summary

Siemens Energy in Milano, IT seeks a fully qualified lawyer to support the Grid Technologies division. The role focuses on legal matters across sales, procurement, and licensing contracts, with emphasis on EPC contracts and public award procedures.

You will draft templates, manage claims, and advise a production facility while collaborating with a global Legal Counsel community. Italian and English fluency is required for effective cross‑border support.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified lawyer or equivalent qualifications in Italian law.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a legal department of an international company or law firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage all legal matters for Grid Technologies execution units related to HVDC, substations, products, services, digital solutions, and more.
• Redline and negotiate EPC contracts, develop templates for EPC contracts with private and public customers, including public award procedures, supply and commissioning contracts, and software delivery agreements.
• Oversee public award procedures concerning legal matters and provide legal counsel to a transformer factory on all relevant issues.
• Handle claims with customers and suppliers while addressing business challenges by balancing governance with business needs.
• Engage and manage outside counsel cost-effectively when necessary; collaborate with the global Legal Counsel community for alignment and best practices.
