Job summary

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central in Capodichino, Italy seeks a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Architect to lead a team of designers, engineers and architects in planning, design and construction efforts for installation facilities.

The role requires licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) and experience directing complex architectural and engineering projects with budget and schedule oversight.

Qualifications

• Must hold PE (0801) or RA (0808) license.
• Experience in planning, design and construction of complex projects.
• Ability to manage teams, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance to designers, engineers and architects.
• Advise on architectural/engineering methods and systems for project development.
• Plan and participate in studies to improve design standards and criteria.
• Coordinate with in-house designers and A-E firms to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
