BB&E seeks an experienced Architect to support NAVFAC EURAFCENT Headquarters in Naples, Italy. The Design Architect will provide architectural services for planning, design, construction, and facilities development for the Navy and other commands.

Requirements include a NAAB-accredited architecture degree, at least five years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and the ability to relocate to Naples. Security background checks will be conducted.

Competenze

• Minimum five (5) years of professional, code-compliant facilities design experience for new construction, including renovation design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program or international equivalent.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of DoD/Navy criteria is preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to and work on site in Naples, Italy.
• Ability to pass required security background investigations.

Mansioni

• Prepare architectural and interior design plans and specs; review third-party designs and cost estimates.
• Develop conceptual designs and construction documents for diverse shore-facility types.
• Coordinate technical and administrative requirements with local, national, Host Nation, and other authorities.
• Ensure designs comply with DoD, Navy, UFCs/UFGS, IBC, NFPA 101, and environmental/safety standards.
• Lead AE office inspections, field investigations, and progress reporting.
