BB&E seeks a full-time Structural Engineer to support NAVFAC EURAFCENT, primarily on-site at Naval Support Activity Naples in Capodichino, Italy. The role includes travel to NSA Bahrain and other EURAFCENT locations.

Requirements include a minimum of five years in civil/structural engineering for facilities, and an ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering; PE registration is preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer registration in civil or structural engineering is preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide independent structural engineering support for Navy facilities planning, design, construction, and maintenance.
• Support military construction, demolition, renovation, and facilities development requirements.
• Calculate environmental and blast loads and design vertical and lateral systems.
• Analyze foundations, retaining structures, and structural elements in concrete, steel, and timber.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and proposals.
• Review submittals and provide comments at 35%, 65%, and 100% design stages.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and project managers for coordination.
