Vertiv in Piove di Sacco, Italy, is seeking a Thermodynamic HVAC/chiller Engineer to join the Thermal Management mechanical design team within R&D. You will focus on Chiller products and work with a multi-disciplinary team to drive high-performance, cost-efficient designs.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Mechanical/Energy Engineering, 3–5 years in HVAC/chiller projects, strong thermodynamics and refrigeration knowledge, and intermediate English.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering is required.
• At least 3–5 years of experience on similar HVAC/chiller projects.
• Good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles.
• English – Intermediate level – written and spoken.
• High motivation with leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of technical norms and standards.
• Competences: result-oriented, team player, detail-oriented, flexible.

Mansioni

• Develop and manage new R&D data center cooling products.
• Deliver fast, engineered-to-order solutions based on existing platforms.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team for high performance and cost efficiency.
• Lead design of new products or re-engineer existing ones, coordinating with Marketing, Procurement and Industrial Engineering.
• Review product documentation including CAD drawings, specifications, and BOM.
• Aim for cost, quality, environment and timely execution.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems within responsibility.
• Occasional travel between Italian HQ and Slovakia facility.
• Maintain strong HVAC expertise with emphasis on thermodynamics and refrigeration.
