Vertiv Co. is seeking a Thermodynamic Engineer to join the Thermal Management mechanical Design team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy. You will focus on Chiller and Chilled Water products, developing new R&D solutions for data center cooling and leading design efforts across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration, English at an intermediate level, and willingness to travel between the Italian HQ and other divisions (NA, China).

Competenze

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering is required.
• Previous working experience on similar projects, ideally in the HVAC/chiller sector is preferred.
• Good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles are essential.

Mansioni

• Manage the development of new R&D products in the data center cooling sector.
• Deliver a fast and customer focused response on NPDI projects based on proven platforms.
• Lead design of new products or re-engineer existing ones, coordinating with Marketing, Procurement and Industrial Engineering.
