Job summary

Angelini Pharma is seeking a highly qualified Privacy Officer to lead the Privacy Department in Rome. The role requires 6–8 years of international experience, strong GDPR expertise, and the ability to guide data protection strategy and training across the organization.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Legal and IT, oversee DPIAs/LIAs, manage data subject requests, and contribute to privacy innovation initiatives in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of international/multidisciplinary experience.
• Master's degree in Law with specialization in privacy or data protection.
• Fluent English is required.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GDPR compliance and corporate privacy/data security policies.
• Act as primary point of contact with supervisors and data subjects.
• Provide strategic and operational advice on privacy and data security to business units.
• Monitor data protection risks; develop DPIAs and LIAs.
• Coordinate fraud management and handling of data subject requests.
• Draft, update and maintain records for data processing compliance.
• Plan and deliver training on personal data protection and information security.
• Support digitalization/AI projects with privacy by design considerations.
• Collaborate with Legal and IT to resolve data breach issues.
