Jefferson Wells Italia is seeking a senior Finance & Controlling professional for a multinational client in the industrial manufacturing sector based in Bologna. You will oversee month-end closes, statutory and tax compliance, budgeting and forecasting, and lead site audits to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Guarantee full Tax / statutory compliance and submit regulatory financial information.
• Coordinate month end close processes and teams to finalize accounts monthly.
• Manage the control framework and implement improvements from audits.
• Submit information into group via Cognos and other reporting tools on time.
• Lead annual budgets and monthly forecasts with business buy-in.
• Manage cash flows through forecasting and coordinating payments/receipts.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations monthly/quarterly/annually.
• Lead site audits and provide auditors with required information.
• Handle other ad-hoc tasks to support finance function.

Our client, a multinational company operating in the industrial manufacturing sector, is currently looking for a:

Key Tasks

• Guarantee full Tax / statutory compliance and submit any regulatory required financial information to relevant parties including but not limited to: Corporate tax returns, VAT returns, Statutory accounts, Intrastat
• Coordinating month end close processes and teams to finalise and analyse the accounts each month respecting deadlines.
• Manage the control framework, ensuring that business and accounting processes are up to corporate standard. Implement improvements in the control framework as identified by internal audit and maintain these standards in between audits.
• Submit monthly, quarterly and annual information into group via COGNOS and other reporting mechanisms to ensure all information required by group is reported on time.
• Key role on annual budgets and monthly forecasts ensuring full buy in and support from the business with the financial plans.
• Manage cash flows through forecasting and coordinating payments and receipts, ensuring the liquidity of the company met forecast and budget expectations.
• Perform all balance sheet reconciliations either monthly, quarterly or annually in line with the group balance sheet reconciliation policy.
• Lead the site audit, providing auditors with all required information in a timely manner ensuring a successful outcome.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the smooth running of the finance function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics with a specialization in Finance and Controlling or comparable qualification/experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in the field of F&A as well as in-depth knowledge of modern financial management
• Strong knowledge of the English language
