Experteer Italy seeks a Senior Accountant based in Milan to support the French entities of a multinational group. You will handle day-to-day accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, collaborating with local advisors and auditors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general and tax accounting.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and reporting.
• Experience with finance, asset management and payment processes.
• Knowledge of French GAAP and local accounting/tax regulations is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for the Group's French entities
• Oversee AP, AR, sales, purchases and non-trade payables
• Support cash management, payments and financial reporting
• Maintain and review financial records including fixed assets and payroll postings
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Manage VAT returns and statutory tax reporting with local advisors
• Liaise with external auditors and resolve accounting matters
• Contribute to process improvements, internal controls and finance projects
• Provide operational support for meetings and corporate activities
