Job summary

IQM selezione s.r.l. seeks a Senior Accountant to lead day-to-day accounting for the French entities in a multinational setting. The role focuses on accurate bookkeeping, statutory reporting, and effective collaboration with local advisors and auditors.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in general and tax accounting, strong SAP and Excel skills, and fluency in English and Italian (French a plus). Immediate availability preferred; work location is in the Milan area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of general and tax accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and reporting.
• Experience with finance, asset management and payment processes.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English and Italian; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of French GAAP and local regulations is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for the Group's French entities.
• Oversee AP, AR, sales, purchases and non-trade payables.
• Support cash management, payments and financial reporting.
• Maintain financial records including fixed assets and payroll postings.
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Handle VAT returns and statutory tax reporting with local advisors.
• Liaise with external auditors and resolve accounting matters.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal controls.
• Provide operational support for meetings and corporate activities.
